What is InboxFever?

InboxFever is a platform to build email powered applications. InboxFever extends your web service and software with advanced email based functions and controls.

Why Email?

Email is a global communications platform. Email is convenient, asynchronous, easily archived, and pervasive. The email user interface is the common denominator of all modern mobile devices.

Cross Platform/No Downloads

InboxFever apps work with any email client, on any platform. Users don't have to download and plugins, extensions, applications, or add-ons.

Email Address is the Application

Users communicate with the email apps by simply sending an email to the predefined email address. They can query and update databases, request cutoms generated reports, and manipulate documents via email.

Flexible API

The InboxFever api is webhook based. We translate incoming emails to simple JSON objects and send them to the endpoint of your choosing. You can easily respond to these emails in the response to the incoming emails. Or originate emails from the app. Attachments are stored and can easily be retrieved. Email events such as clicks and opens are available to your app through a feedback webhook.
